What's the best way to get a teaching credential in Los Angeles?
I have a B.A. in Econ from UCLA(1978) and work full time. I sometimes think I would like to teach social studies to high schoolers.
You'll need to contact a university Ed department or your state department of education.
There are now some programs by which a person with a BA or BS can do a one year intensive ed class/student teaching program and in one year have a masters in Ed and a teaching cert. I don't know if CA does or not.
