Which would you prefer in UK? 50 New Hospitals or 100,000 extra police officers or war in Iraq & Afghanistan?
You could have had 50 purpose built state of the art 1000 bed hospitals.
Or you could have had 100,000 extra Police Officers in the villages, towns and cities across the country to really get on top of law and order..
Or maybe 100,000 extra teachers in the schools, perhaps teaching in smaller groups.
Instead you got to pay for armed forces and equipment sent to Afghanistan and Iraq to kill and get killed.
That guy Dennis T who has answered he picks war - is an American. I did say in UK. Another one that can't help interfering in other countries. It says it all doesn't it.
