Does anyone know a good dance camp for a 14 year old that doesn't require audition?
I am trying to find one in the eastern time zone. I would like it to be a overnight camp that you stay at for 1 week up to 3weeks. Also one that teaches at least ballet and jazz but tap is a plus if it does. Also one that is reasonably priced for a good camp sure pay a good price but nothing explosive.

well, pretty much all intensives require audition, but there are some that yes they require an audition but they aren't terribly hard to make and they take about everyone. try Atlanta Ballet Company. a price for their advanced or intermediate intensive in downtown atlanta is $810 for two weeks for someone that needs a room and meals. or $400 if you have family to stay with. i know some intensives that run around 4,000 so atlanta is quite reasonable! they also have an array of classes! the classes they teach include: pointe,ballet,technique, variations, Pas de Deux, jazz, modern, nutrition, and physical therapy. i think i might be missing some. if you want more info, go to their website: www.atlantaballet.com. you can audition i believe by sending in a video or auditioning at one of their audition sites during their tour. hope this helps and good luck!
