Which has a longer overall lifespan iPod or another brand MP3 player?

I've gone through 2 iPods, with each lasting about 3 years. I play music for probably 2-4 hours EVERY day. I was curious, which will have a longer overall lifespan, an iPod or another brand of MP3 player? I can't see paying 300$ for something that is only going to last a few years. However, if the other brand MP3 players will only last months - I might reconsider.

If there is a specific brand of MP3 player I should check out - please let me know. I'm looking to save money but also find something that will last a long time. I'm not really interested in it having video abilities, just being able to be small, have a long overall lifespan and play my music.

Any suggestions...?

Getting porcelain veneers can get quite costly, so it is understandable that someone considering getting them would want to know how many years they could expect their veneers to last. Unfortunately, there is no definitive answer to this question. No statistics have been gathered, so no number value can be applied. The best available answer is this: it depends how well you take care of them.

However, most broken veneers must be replaced with a new veneer. Keep in mind that dental bonding is prone to staining over time, so any patching done will eventually lead to inconsistent coloring.

What you can do to extend the lifespan of your veneers

· Practice good oral hygiene - this will definitely help keep your veneers in good shape. Failure to brush and floss regularly can lead to the buildup of certain bacteria that can cause the bonding cement to deteriorate.

· Avoid biting down on hard substances – Chewing on ice, hard candy, or other such substances will significantly shorten the lifespan of your veneers.

· Wear a mouth guard – If you participate in contact sports, or any activity that puts you at risk of getting hit in the mouth, be sure to wear a protective mouth guard. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a mouth guard is essential. Neuromuscular dental treatment for TMD may be a good option for you as well.
