I was among the club's chairman at the university, which automatically gave me the membership (the condition of voting rights) to all clubs and organizations on campus. I was a Democratic Council member, so very very attached to a group that could be active in what I liked do. At that moment I like politics and not a lot of volunteer work in the community. Basically, I'd say do what you want. You appear to be widely range of interests. Join some clubs if you have the time or better yet, get together with some friends and start your own club. All that would probably have to do is to ask the student government acceptance, draft a constitution and bylaws, and get some students interested to participate. Good luck.
