Teaching toddlers...?
The alphabet and counting to at least 10. My kids know all the letters and the numbers but I have a hard time getting them to say them in order.
Alao what age do kids usually start writing letters and numbers?
I'm a preschool teacher for children 2 1/2 to 5....I have some 3 year olds that know more than my 5 year olds. It all depends on how much the parents are involved at home. It takes ALOT of practice. Every child is different so don't expect them to know them at the same time. On the other hand try doing activities together and it could help the children learn from each other. On the other hand of that if you have shy children this probably wouldn't be such a great idea because it can make them even more shy about learning. What I do with my kids is obviously were in a classroom setting and we have the alphabet on the wall and we go over it every single day so they see the order everyday and this could help them see it. The average age that children start writing letters and numbers is I would see 3 and half but like I said every single child is different. It is GREAT to hear that you are working with them at home!
