UAI required for a special education teacher?
I live in Sydney, Australia and am interested in becoming a special education teacher and was wondering UAI do you need and if I can go directly to a course of education or special education if I have to do this course after having already attained a degree teaching. In addition, there must be a specific topic you should choose in year 11 and 12? Thanks, Abby
You have to get your B. Ed and AQs as a few, Special Education 1 and 2 in particular. As for the SA, it really depends on what level of education you want to enter, if they want to teach higher levels then you need to double major, you need to choose courses that prepare for a second education.
