Should 11-17yr olds be taught more survival skills by their parents and school teachers?
Like making simple breakfast, keeping their rooms clean and tidy, speaking and writing well, doing little repairs around the house?
Having so much time after school many rather while away precious moments on their computer, tv, even mischief?
Should one of the parents sacrifice a full-time job and change to a part-time job to supervise their kids at this critical stage of their lives?
A lot of times both mother and father have to work in order to support the family. So it is not their choice whether to work part-time or full-time. When I was 11 years old I can do all of those things that you mentioned and both of my parents work full time.
