In Illinois, how can I get my secondary education certificate if I already have my cert Elementary?
I have an MA in Education Curriculum and Instruction and a type of certification 03. It is a primary teaching certificate with endorsements in Middle School Social Studies and Mathematics. I wonder what I have to do to get a secondary Cert. Do I need another degree? Can I take some tests?
Contact your county, state or superintendent of schools. The office of state certification will have to evaluate your transcripts to tell you what you need. Have some additional courses. Why Why not stay with the middle school? Children need a special thing and good people to work with them.
