Medical Assistant Training?
I'm changing my career from Graphic Design to Medical Assistant/Nursing. I did alot of research on medical school, community colleges, and Institutes. At this moment lots of school does not starts until next year, which is not too good for me, because I want to start sooner. Yesterday I met with a counselor at a small Institute called American Professional Institute. The school was in a plaza. The program sounds very exciting, the place is very small, but they do teach you what you need to know. Its a 6 months program and you get your Certificate Medical Assistant and they will find a job for you after graduation. Can I really start my medical assistant/nursing career like this? Its cheaper than any other institutes I looked for and it fits my flexible schedule. As any of you took medical assistant/nursing classes other than big colleges and succeed?
Yes it is a accredited school.

It sounds good, but is it an accredited school? Some companies may frown upon ones that are not recognized.
