Please help, my son is going through a phase!?
My son is 2 years old. i love him to death but my god if i could ship him to the moon for a couple of weeks i would! For the past 4 days he has been very clingy to the point that he is constantly crying at my feet. while trying to eat supper, he'll be crying trying to climb up my chair to sit on me, at night he'll be crying because he wants to sleep with me, he always wants to sit on me, and the list goes on and on. everyday that i drop him off at daycare he is usually very happy but these past 4 days, he'll be crying at my feet practically begging me not to leave him. my husband tries to help me out by taking him to give me a breather but he'll cry even more and pushes "daddy" away and only wants mommy. I enjoy the fact that he loves me and want me but there is a point where mommy needs a breather herself. Does anyone have any pointers to teach him that its ok for mommy to be away from him too or is this something that i should be concerned
There is surely something bugging him or he is scared of.........thts why hes more insecured...........
He can't speak since he is only 2, thts why he nags you all the time.
Just keep a check of whats happening around him which he is unable to digest.........
Also see if the daycare people by any chance have made him scared or whatever........?????????
Hug him, be sweet to him & show him that he's gonna be safe coz you are his MOM..............
Give as much importantace to him as you can.........
Slowly things will improve, he will forget all with your love & affection...........
Also he might be a little more cranky b'coz he might be feeling sick, kids usually stick to their mommy's when they are unwell........ If you notice .......... Or try to figure out...............take him to a doctor!
