Is there a reason that the historical and current functional physics models as "conventional" flow positive?
When I was a child I was taught that "the flow of electrons" was how electricity worked. Then I went to college and everything was modeled as "conventional Current "in physics classes. I heard the historical story of Benjamin Franklin and arbitrairly choose the wrong way to be cargo moving and such ... however, must be any real advantage to this crazy way of modeling today, as if the protons are compressed through the cables. Im really stuck on this. I have been a Force Electronics Technical Aviation and now teaches High School Physics, however, this question has bothered me a lot over the years in May. I have only received responses like: "Well, everything works mathematically, what it does. However, just hate the idea that an arbitrary error of more than a century to launch the fields full of thought that have never tried to reflect the physical reality, mathematics modeling.
Nope. Ben just got it wrong. When he arrived with "positive" and "negative" was not even thinking in terms of the current way we do today.
