Good Math money websites?
I will be teaching math money management junior year and older in the fall and I love to hear from other teachers who have taught this, specifically, some good sites where I can download some free * * Activities and worksheets or projects. The material resources we have at my school are not all that great and I was hoping someone out there has come across some good activities or websites. Thanks so much!
I am not a teacher, but I found this website: www.dinkytown.net has over 250 kinds of financial calculators. I used which showed how paying a mortgage payment that factor through the life of the loan. It was a great tool to see the power of compound interest in reverse of which - How much can you save by paying a bit more now translate into big savings later.
