How do I cite in APA format?

I have a research paper on the history of the world and I have to cite my work in APA format, not know how. The only thing that ever taught me was the MLA format. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance (:

This http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/ is a very good quote that has a detailed guide on how to format your document. I suggest you download the sample so that you can see how all eyes. This is an example given by the website. It is obvious that only had to fill in the blanks with appropriate information: Purdue University Online Writing Lab (OWL) (Date Latest edition available in the gray box at the top of the resources). Title of resources. Retrieved month day, year, from the direction of resources http://web OWL. APA is not very difficult to guess. It's actually a bit further ahead compared to the MLA. Good luck!
