teaching guides for literature
Study of the influential classical literature in schools ...?

It seems that "classical literature" is literature that has had a great impact on the world, or has its literary merit. In high school read "classics" ... but I was thinking the other day, much more ample of how our views would be if all religious literature, classical studies, which guides the life and beliefs of millions of people ... eg the Koran, Dhammapada, the Bible, the Tao Te Ching, the Hindu Vedas, the Book of Mormon. These are all old books, used for hundreds of years. I think if I had been taught in high school to appreciate the literary merit of these books, and to understand the different views that people in them, I would really helped me greatly in understanding humanity. What do you think? Sorry, typo ... should read "different opinions that people get from them."

As I see it, should at least our literature. No need for sects, imported from other countries. The Koran, Dhammapada, Tao Te Ching, the Vedas Hindus, Mormons are not ours. At least the Bible, even if it is hundreds of years old, I can not agree, because in the currency and the Court. Those who swear by the Koran, and another thing, what do they care when they swear to tell the truth in court ... the truth is different to others ... therefore the Bible does not mean anything to they. The Mormons have used the Bible and twisted completely for the time being in force ... Thank you.
