teaching creative nonfiction
College degree is needed to successfully write and publish non-fiction?

For trade, and love, I am focused and formal education as a certified therapist and Massge practice and teaching of basic, Qigong. Although I've taken at random from the community college courses in recent years have never finished a college degree. They have mostly taken courses of interest and sometimes the courses I was told I should take a left and often before finishing due to sick several times a week or simply lack of interest in the subject (math and science in particular). Friends and acquaintances have suggested that should write a book, apparently related to being rather curious, sensitive / perceptive, expressive, thoughtful about the way some areas of being. Although as far as writing a book, I've never written a magazine article or completed college writing courses. So my question is, how will I learn to create a book quality non-fiction without a degree in writing? Some examples of creative writers who publish with no formal training?

I do not think you have to have a degree to publish fiction. If you have a good knowledge of their subject and are passionate enough to continually learn more you should be fine. Good luck:)
