Is it possible just to teach Art and Design in primary schools?
If you have the funding, then maybe it's possible. But at my school Art & Design is a Double Award GCSE Subject - Ages 14 and over. I havent taken it myself, but a few of my friends have, and from what I've heard, they're swamped with Coursework. So if 15 year olds can't handle it, then I'm not sure how ages 11 and under would.
You might however, be on about something completely different, and was referring to just a normal art class for primary schools, then I think it's great! I had art class in Primary School, and I always found it nice on Friday afternoons to wind down for the weekend.
