What are some video games that will be assets for the year?
I want fun sports games that use some rackets real, etc., that can teach sports skills and keep active 11 years old and 5 years of age when children can not play outside. Tennis, karate, football, fishing, shooting, soccer, basketball - maybe even music and dancing for the mother to get in shape? Either plug on TV or what kind game system?
The two best options are either the. PlayStation 2 or Nintendo Wii The PS2 has the Eye Toy, the witch is a camera that displays on the screen and can interact with the image and has a set of exercise called Kinetic. The PS2 also has the Dance Dance Revolution game that has a mat that is placed on the floor and dance by the stepping on arrows that are displayed on the screen to the beat of music. The second option and my favorite is the Wii. It comes packaged with Wii Sports game and has 5 games including: Tennis Golf Boxing Bowling Baseball Game to them by sensing movement of the driver. For example, in baseball-bat actually stand up and turn the controller like a bat (boxing is especially good for the exercise). The other good part about the Wii is that next year a game called Wii Fit which is probably out exactly what you're looking for (you can read more about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_Fit). The Wii is a much more recent game, for what it will cost a bit more than the PS2. But unlike the PS2 the Wii comes with almost everything you need to ultimately prices will be very close.
