How does one teach a map-illiterate to figure out a map?
I have failed more map-reading classes than I've had birthdays. I see people pointing out places and telling me of their plan of destination and, no matter how well my listening skills are, I just cannot understand what they're saying to me. There are also times when someone will show me a map and ask me where a certain place is and how to get there. How do I read it??
