A poem for the Special Children?
My Special Ones

My kids have different abilities.
Each one owns a part of my heart.
Each one teaches me about strength,
And what life means to live.
One has a dream of just being able to walk to the door,
Another wants to dial a phone.
Still another wants to go out on a date.
There's one that likes to sing on a microphone.
Some of my kids have Asberger's Syndrome.
There's a couple who have Down's.
Most of them have Cerebral Palsy.
But I have yet to see them frown.
They come to class as rays of sunshine,
And leave for home shining like the moon.
Each of them are God's Special Stars,
That He chose to sprinkle in my classroom.
I'm crying, this is so beautiful. I was a special student back in Junior High. I love this poem, so sweet. Those little angels must love you so. Good job!!!!
