How I can be a good teacher and effective to students lazy?
I teach two Korean students and its main objective is to learn and speak English fluently. I know that both are intelligent and are only on par with others. My first student speaks English better than a second, more understanding faster than the second. But he is lazy. The second listens but he is starting in the English language. So I have to give more attention to him to give the lesson. What are the best methods to learn? to capture their attention? to make sure you enjoy learning?
Find out what motivates them. Are they on the books, cars, what? When you discover your interest, try to work in any way what be taught. My son has autism, so treat such problems every day. You have to find its "price" so to speak. If it is Car that covers its switch, then perhaps as a reward ... showing a short film about cars, for example.
