Unless you are a U.S. citizen or PR, social security number does not mean they are permitted to work in the USA. (Assuming you are not allowed to work in the U.S.) If you work in the U.S., it is necessary to find a company that is willing to hire a citizen abroad and sponsor work visas like the H1B visa.
