Why do you think it is important to teach kids about history?
I am doing a report on education and I decided to do it specifically on the importance of history. What are your opinions on history taught in the classroom? Can either be about American or World.
I love history and have always loved it since I was in school (and that was many years ago). I do think it is important that kids learn about the history of their country and also what else was happening in the world at the same time. Sorry to use an old saying, but learning about history your learn about the mistakes that were made and we can make sure that we do not make them again, an old saying but plenty of sense in it.
