Why do the conserve. Repubs. act like they hold the key to holy morality,,when?

Rep. Robert Bauman (R-Md.), homophobic founder of Young Americans for Freedom and the American Conservative Union, and a member of the Christian Coalition, lost his House seat in 1980 after disclosures that he solicited sex with a 16-year-old gay male. Donald Lukens (R-Ohio) was sentenced to jail for having sex with a minor.
Here is a list of "family values" Republicans who committed adultery:
Rep. Henry Hyde (R-Ill.), and former Rep. Bob Barr (R-Ga.), who were leaders of the impeachment proceedings against President Bill Clinton; Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kansas); former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.); former Rep. Bob Livingston (R-La.), Rep. Don Sherwood (R-Pa.), who had a five-year extramarital affair with a woman 35 years his junior and who later accused him of repeated assaults; and former Rep. Helen Chenoweth (R-Idaho), who told the Spokane Spokesman-Review that God pardoned her sins.

Yes, there are "bad apples in both" but that does not remotely answer the question.

It is not liberals who have bastardized the term "family values"

It is not liberals who bring up "god" and "Jesus" in every other sentence to their followers as verification of their belonging

It is not liberals who have defied the Constitution with their illegal faith based initiatives

It is not liberals who use their god as an excuse to tell women what they can, and cannot do with their bodies

It is not liberals using religion to mask cowardly bigotry to fight against equal rights for homosexuals

It is not liberals claiming to worship a kind and compassionate god while vehemently defending the state sponsored murder of innocent minorities...23 to date.....the death penalty

It is not liberals that have used a tainted, infected, hate filled version of Christianity as a lobbying group for conservative causes

It is not liberals who hold a bible in one hand and a corporate blood stained hand in the other.

"Both have bad apples" is just more right wing blathering, trying to keep eyes off the truth.

You and yours, conservatives, have perverted your religion by turning it into a political abomination of intolerance and hate in the name of your god. How typical and dishonest of yours to try and sell the lie that there is a balance of guilt to this equation. Don't you people ever accept responsibility for your actions?
