requirements for teaching online courses
I want to do an online teaching Certification Course?

They will almost certainly not accept your teaching experience as student teaching. First, it needs to have been supervised by a teacher who was grading you and helping you develop as a teacher, and second, it needs to have been with K-12 students. It's more of a state certification requirement than individual universities' decision.

In a lot of states, you don't need adult ed certification to teach adults (though in some you do). You might want to check around and see if for the job you want, the certification is a requirement. I had several jobs teaching adult ESL in two different states with no adult ed certification.

Here, you can just start teaching and only need to finish any course requirements within 3 years. I began teaching, took the one psych course the ed dept said I needed, and had my full K-12 ESL certification after just one year. Very easy and much cheaper than going back to college.
