How much does a pharmacy technician at Sam's Club get paid?
I currently work as a pharmacy technician (non-certified) at Walgreens for 9.75 a hour. I am applying to Sam's Club to work as a pharm tech and am curious to know the pay rate and the overall work environment. Also, what kind of discounts to employee's get in the store?
if all sam's club operates on the same pay scale you would be paid on a level 3. in my area that level starts at 10.00 an hour. the only discounts that sams associates get is 10 percent on produce and optical including non prescription sunglasses. no discount at walmart but there is a website that is for employee discounts such as on vacation packages, movie tickets plane tickets and more. plus you get a free membership. as for environment well all places differ according to the people that work there. some are nice, some not so much. that is any job tho. we all basically get along at our location. all in all i like working there.

Regulations to work in a pharmacy as a pharmacy technician vary from state to state, so you should check your particular state to find out what rules apply to your pharmacy technician career.
