My mom is URGING me not to go to Teacher's College, WHAT should I do?
I got accepted into Teacher's College in Ontario and I have always thought of being a teacher.
I am 32 and am afraid that if I don't go, I might never find out whether or not I was meant to be a teacher.
I have thought of going into teaching since HS but for one reason or another didn't pursue it.
I applied to Teachers 5 years ago and didn't get in.
Now I finally got in and my mother is ready to DISOWN ME.
Because there are NO jobs in teaching in Ontario right now.
But I still want to pursue the Degree to at least say I did it.
My mom is driving me CRAZY right now and is using every scare tactic to make me leave.
She might even threaten to sell the house we live in.
HELP !!!
This is all very dramatic which makes me question how truthful this question is....
But.....
You have to do what is right for you......your mother needs to grow up be more supportive and have other suggestions for you school wise...not threats.
