Legitimate Work at Home Ideas for a Stay-At-Home Mom?

I have an AA, and AS, a BS in Elem Ed in Lang Arts, a MS in Ed in C & I, a NM Teaching License, and experience in volunteering, tutoring, and substituting at the public schools. I am more than willing to work outside the field of education; however, I do not want to have to pay someone for a job or have my time wasted for mere pennies. I just want to stay at home with my young children until they are in school while supplementing my husband's income so we can pay our bills. Any ideas would definately be considered and much appreciated. Thanks!

If you plan on doing this type of work I urge you to investigate it thoroughly before you get into it. Many are scams. For example, if they require money up front it is a scam. This site gives you the advantages and disadvantages of telecommuting or working at home.

Finally you can also log in to the U. S. Department of Labor website and search there for work at home sites.
