Louisiana: New Orleans RTA, Stimulus, 1.5B Disaster Relief, Online Education, Parish Health
U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu, D-La., today announced a grant worth $45 million for the New Orleans Regional Transport Authority (RTA) from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). This funding is a part of the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) Discretionary Grant Program which was made possible by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
