I am a Spanish teacher considering moving to Fort Lauderdale with my tot. What are some good neighborhoods?
I'm about to graduate in May with my master's degree and license to teach Spanish. I'm seriously considering moving to Fort Lauderdale, FL. I also have a small child. What are the best and most affordable neighborhoods for teachers? What about schools?
Pembroke Pines would be a good place for you. Schools are good and the area is quite safe for children. Before arriving, see about getting certified as a teacher in Broward County. Also, the labor market not the best down here. A charter school can be a good choice for your job search. Indeed, Pembroke Pines has many rental communities pleasant stay west of the best areas. Very friendly America. Probably 60% or more of Hispanics in the area. There is a real need for teachers of Spanish as one can speak the language.
