Why are the greatest loves in literature always so closely related to death?

ex. Jesus, romeo and juliet, most greek tragedies, Edgar Allen Poe, etc.

Authors use the rhetorical strategies and syntax to get their stories out onto the world.

In these cases, like Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and many Greek tragedies, the authors like to use "irony."
