How to teach a parakeet to talk?
Budgie I have a baby and im trying to teach him to speak, its already very tame, but what is really the best way to teach him to speak, I've tried to repeat words when I go into the ROM, but does not seem to hear, can anybody give some idea how I can teach or strategies and provide their source, if you have one, I hear you can get training kits, but I have no idea where xx ps thanx Do any of you are talking parakeets? I hate when people say things that do not are true. Parakeets can talk. This is what you do. Every day for 10 minutes straight, repeating the word wants to say. Some people even get all of the cage and only maintain the bird there so there are no distractions. Repeat the word again and again for 10 minutes every day. Many times, training kits do not work because the bird need encouragement from its owner (you) to get them talking. Try to encourage in any way I can and when we speak with a treat reward.
