It's a little complicated with Charles II because he was King of Scotland first, 1649 - 1651, and then King of England, of Scotland and of Ireland 1660 - 1685, his reign in England and Ireland being *delayed* by the Interregnum whereas it was interrupted in Scotland by the Protectorate.
