Do you need to accept the teachings of Jesus to be a christian?
Jesus was crucified because his teachings were radically liberal. “Love your enemy. Turn the other cheek.” Stuff like that. Ultra liberal. Why do I keep hearing about “Conservative Christians? Can you be a Christian and yet reject all of Jesus teachings?
He was crucified because he told people they wrong, told them to stop changing God's laws for their own benifit, and was threatening their power structure and they did not like it.
