hey guys i have to do this debate for school, and our teacher gave us a website which was pretty much useless, and i need help on finding what was the roman senate's view on slavery during the first century? any help would be gratefully appreciated.
They loved slaves...mostly.
Slaves were used for building projects, domestic needs, sexual desires...you name it. They weren't considered people, they were barbarians mostly abducted and forced into submission on war campaigns.
