Im in year 8 in high school, everyone knows what he wants to do too much, but I do not?
Im in year 8 in high school, everyone knows what you want too do, but not me. I'm interested in many things. Such as: performing music, writing music, ICT, Film and Media, Science, History of Sociology, Geography, Education / Helping others out. But I do not know what jobs you can do with these interests. Please help me!
As seen in previous answers, you're not alone. If your school has a career counselor, maybe you could go see them. If not then we suggest talking to your form tutor or parents that can help you decide what to do. Knowing what kind of job that you would make can help in the future, so maybe you could do a little research on what some jobs are similar. Choose a job you think you might be interested in, so that, for example, you said you are in Film & Media. There are many different areas within Film and Media as the photograph, address, even editing. Have a look on YouTube to find out what its like to work in these industries. If you still can not decide what you want done, then try to reduce the options put forward for the topics that you liked and you're okay. Remember, you have to stick with the subject options for 2 years! So choose wisely.
