Is it easy to teach himself to play guitar?
EDIT: my mom told me a guitar, but without classes. Is it worth getting the learing guitar on its own or is too difficult and pointless to get a guitar without lessons? I've been playing the piano for 9 years now. I know how to read music. My mom said it would take me a guitar for Christmas if I wanted. so I get one? or too hard and would not make sense to get one without classes?
mate well the answer is no. I've been playing guitar for 7 years, but during the first 4 i was like shit for one of a better word. It was not until I got some lessons a guy who knew what he did that I really learned the tools to teach myself correctly. If you do this, you can teach yourself anything. Obviously they know music theory which can only help, but the guitar is an instrument that needs to be understood in order to play correctly. Get some lessons, learn what you need to know to be able to progress by itself and then you are free! hold true champion
