diabetes teaching kids
Is there a link between gestational diabetes and children do not tell colors apart?

I have 5 children and gestational diabetes while pregnant two of them. The last one of them is worse. I have always been taught the right / left, numbers and colors every time he does something with them, for example, / putting shoes / clothes. Even now my 5 year old who has mild brain damage, he knew all his colors (including gray), before she was 4. I feel my youngest is up where it should be in development with everything else, but is having difficulty with most of its colors (she knows purple). Even the blue base, red, green and yellow is sometimes difficult for her. Could I have gestational diabetes at the time be a factor in their not see the color differences? I've heard Diabetes can affect vision. She was placed in the NICU when she wasn't born as a celebration of their levels of blood sugar alone. She's 4 btw sorry

My aunt has gestational diabetes with her 2 children. The larger of the 2 was very sick as a baby. 3 times to death, was in the NICU for 12 months. They told my aunt that never see color 4yo. It is 18 years and now can see the color. He has trouble seeing the colors that are near, you must make a second look. Near real not her younger sister, but I know that wears glasses. You could be something there. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
