Any Architectural Engineers or Building Construction Science Majors?
Im considering a transfer to another college into a field of engineering. I've been able to find a tenative schedule for all that I'm interested in except for Architectural Engineering and Building Construction Science. I was hoping someone could give me some key courses for a freshmen in those to fields to be taking. Please only answer if you have declared one of those majors or have had experience in one of them.
It isn't the freshman or sophomore courses you need to look at. When I was considering architecture and/or construction the first three semesters were pretty much the same for both majors.
Some examples (each university will have slightly different names):
Calculus
Physics
Building methods
CADD
Arch/Const graphics
Concrete
these are some classes in future semesters:
Electrical
HAVC
Steel
Statics (not statistics)
Strength in materials
Legal aspects/Contracts
