best teaching hospitals in the united states
Vietnamese?

Me and my wife are from New Orleans and plan to return in a couple of years. Pre-Med I'm starting this fall and want to start learning other languages. New Orleans has a large Vietnamese community, so my goal is to learn from Viet Nam on the road because most people who speak a second language in the U.S. speak Spanish or French. I want to be different. None of the schools taught me the prospect of Vietnam, but one of them offers Japanese and Chinese (Manderino). Personally, I'm more interested in Japanese, as I am in love with their culture and would love to visit Japan in a couple of times. But if my goal Vietnamese final, any language that helps me more with Vietnam? Perhaps one is more similar to the linguistic roots of words or characters. And if someone starts to have some advice would be helpful. I wanted to collect at least a second language for a while, but my goal is to also look good to a medical school and / Or hospital.

Vietnam was my first language and I was born in Hawaii .. It is very easy to learn .. you should try smaller schools .. at my university offering Vietnamese and a school .. the Manderino easier or because their Japanese-accented English words bit and sounds are not simulate characters confused ..
