How can I get over...?
how Christian my school books are? Like for example, in my grammar book, almost every problem is a reference to God, or the Bible. I want it to stop. Before, I had no problem with it, but now, it's getting on my nerves. I can't tell my dad "Oh, I want to go back to public school because I'm an atheist.". How do I get over it? Oh, if it might help, the place we ordered my school books is A Beka book. A very Christian curriculum.
You could try telling your dad that a public school would suit you better (and it's quite a bit cheaper, too).
Alternatively, you could try purchasing your own books that are more secular in nature and use the school-mandated textbooks only when necessary.
You can also use the Christian references in later arguments (so view it as a learning experience). Or you could ignore it entirely and just treat it as another story.
