If I want to teach in America?
Hello I live in London, UK, and as I am doing a postgraduate degree in American politics, I wondered if this would be enough for me, for example, teach the subject in a school, college or community or something, or I have to make a PhD? Also, how do I even get a job like this if possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
That should be equivalent to a masters degree here (I think) but would be enough for you to teach in a school or community college. In high school, you can do something called the side entrance, where despite not having a "teaching" degree, while a degree in a field of application, can begin teaching and then you are required to take courses (or something) and get a teaching certificate (but you can teach to do this). In a community college, all what is required most is a teacher, and as I said, I think yours will be considered as an equivalent. Good luck!
