Do any of you taught abroad in Japan?
I'm looking to spend a year teaching abroad in Japan next Fall ... Some of you have done before? What were your experiences? Would you recommend? You're also familiar with the Amistad / education programs Aeon .. I am also open to hearing about teaching abroad outside of Japan .. I love any comments / ideas / suggestions ... thanks!
Aeon and I'm teaching is excellent! I spent 3 years researching the different schools and in the end Aeon was my # 1 choice and I was hired. I recommend it 100%. The company takes care of teachers and makes the transition smoothly. The atmosphere at my school is great and the students are wonderful. In Aeon its initial rate of 270,000 and go from there. The rent is subsidized for failing to pay over 55,000 a month no matter where you live. I live in one of big cities and I'm 10 minutes from downtown. Rent a house like mine can sky rocket Aeon still pays the difference, so do not pay more than teachers living in Hicksville.
